Liked Fifty Shades of Grey? Then You’ll Love The Boss

Erotic fiction is really popular right now, since Fifty Shades of Grey became a best seller, and women everywhere have been dreaming about Christian Grey and his Red Room of Pain.

You know what else is becoming popular? Serials. Not that stuff you eat in the morning, nor those multitudes of books that come one right after another, but a new sort of book. They’re posted online, or sold in smaller chunks, usually 15-20 pages, or about 15,000 words.

Combining the best of both worlds, The Boss is a new erotic serial by Abigail Barnette.
If you loved the erotic content of Fifty Shades of Grey, you’re going to love The Boss. Want your Ana Steele to have, well, a little more steel in her backbone?

Meet Sophie Scaife, first assistant to a powerful editor in chief at a fashion magazine. At 24, she spends her days picking up egg white omelets, oogling Calvin Klein fashion models, and fetching coffee, and taking constipated Yorkies to colonics.

Unexpectedly, her world is turned upside down when her boss is fired, and Neil Elwood steps in to take over the magazine. The same Neil Elwood that she shared one amazing night with six years before.

Where will it go from there? Well, you’ll have to check out The Boss by Abigail Barnette. Available for FREE (Free is always good), on the 15th and 30th of every month, here.

Is my post not enough to convince you? Then check out the official blurb, and see if that doesn’t interest you.

Sophie Scaife almost ran away once, trading her ticket to college for a ticket to Tokyo. But a delayed flight and one incredibly hot night with a stranger changed her mind, putting her firmly on track to a degree and a career at a New York fashion magazine.

Six years later, she’s shocked to find that irresistible stranger is now her boss, billionaire Neil Elwood. And Sophie can’t stop thinking about their one amazing night.

But Neil has eccentric tastes, and he wants to be sure Sophie can handle them. Sophie will have to prove she’s his match both at work and at play, and surrender to her Master’s every erotic whim.

Torn between their professional duties and their sensual desires, Sophie and Neil embark on a journey into their darkest sexual fantasies. But when Sophie gets the chance of a lifetime, will she follow her dreams, or her heart?
I’m on the Street Team, which means I get the installments a few days early, and you get to hear about updates from me. So, be prepared for a number of posts about The Boss by Abigail Barnette.

  2. I still haven’t read Fifty Shades of Grey. It just didn’t appeal to me. But this book, The Boss, sounds like a fun story line. I’ll have to check it out.
